So much more than boarding! I'm particular about who I leave my malinois pup with and so grateful for having met James (in a coffee shop with his pack). He is an awesome animal behaviorist who provided valuable insight. I am so appreciative of his evaluation and referrals to trainers in my area. He goes well beyond what one might deem a professional business- he is genuinely passionate about the well being of those who visits: pups and their parents alike. I've learned so much from him. We were ready to get rid of our 1 year old frenchie after a food aggression episode with our smallest child. Truth is we needed help and we didn’t know how to implement our dog training to an at home environment and were not a structured household. Jim taught us what our dog needed and showed us in our home what that would took like. He was kind, patient, respectful of us, our kids and our dog. After her board and train he helped us brainstorm and sweep our home of problem areas and scenarios to set us and our pup up for success. He then showed our kids how to be around her and showed us how to implement the behaviors he was working on with her. He was available for any questions and gave us his feedback on what he was seeing with her which was invaluable. We are indebted to Jim at Pack Life Lodge, he’s helped us with exactly what we’ve needed…a trainer (for us) … we will certainly keep him as a resource and utilize him again when we go away on vacations!

I just picked up my Goldendoodle from Pack Life Lodge where she went on an overnight visit to check it out! She had a blast! Jim and his wife took great care of her. They are fantastic with the pets they watch. She got tons of playtime in the fenced yard as well as walks and coffee shop visits in the village. It is a relaxing and welcoming environment. We will definitely bring Maisy back to Pack Life Lodge. -Doreen and Maisy

Thank you so much to Pack Life Lodge for taking such good care of our dog Cooper while we were away for 8 days. Jim and Alla are THE BEST!! They not only have a beautiful fenced in yard for the dogs to play in, but they also open their house to their pet guests. Cooper is a skittish and highly protective 80 pound German Shepherd mix who can be aggressive towards men and strangers. I was concerned that Cooper wouldn’t be able to settle-in so I was thrilled to see my daily photos and/or videos from Jim that showed how wonderfully Cooper had fit in with Jim, Alla and the other dogs! Jim was so patient with Cooper and was able to build a trusting relationship with him. On top of that, they also brushed Cooper, took him for walks, played with him, and even worked on heeling. I highly recommend Pack Life Lodge to anyone who wants their dog to be cared for and loved while you are away! Thank you again Jim and Alla!! - Cindy and Cooper

Just picked up my dog after an 8 day stay at Pack Life Lodge. Jim kept me updated throughout the week, and frequently posted pictures of the dogs—which were so fun to see! The care and attention she got was readily apparent-walks, brushing, lots of playtime and affection! She came home relaxed (and tired!), not extremely stressed (as has been the case when she has been boarded at other kennels). The dogs truly are treated as part of the Pack Life Lodge family! When you are leaving your four-legged-babies while you are away, I cannot imagine a better place for any dog to stay than Pack Life Lodge! We will definitely be back!
